Changing the Backlight Time Length
The backlight setting lets you select how long the display screen and
keypad are backlit after any key press is made.
To change the backlight setting:
1. Press the left softkey for Menu.
2. Press for Settings.
3. Press for Display.
1. Press for Backlight.
4. Press for Main Display, for Keypad, or for
Pwr Save Mode.
5. Use the navigation key to select:

Flip Open, 15 seconds, 30 seconds, 1 minute, or 3
minutes for the Main Display.
•
Off, 15 seconds, 30 seconds, 1 minute, 3 minutes or
10 minutes for Keypad.
•
On or Off for Pwr Save Mode.
6. Press to save and exit.
Note : Long backlight settings reduce the battery’s talk and standby
times.
Changing the LCD Contrast
You can change the brightness of the main and external LCDs,
making the screens brighter or dimmer.
To change the LCD Contrast:
1. Press the left softkey for Menu.
2. Press for Settings.
