About Toner
When the Toner Cartridge Is Near the End of Its Life
• White streaks or light printing occurs.
• The Status LED or Toner LED blinks red.
Temporarily Improve Print Quality
• You can temporarily improve print quality by redistributing the remaining
toner in the cartridge.
• In some cases, white streaks or light printing will still occur even after you have
redistributed the toner.
Checking Remaining Toner Levels
You can conveniently check remaining toner levels from Smart Panel.
Right-click of printer icon in the Windows task bar > Smart Panel
• Display the remaining toner.
Replacing the Toner Cartridge
Check the type of the toner cartridge for your machine, and replace it. You can
refer to the detailed instruction in user guide.
