Address to the Camera
Using ARP Commands
This section explains how to assign an IP address to the
camera using ARP (Address Resolution Protocol)
commands without using the supplied setup program.
For the use of the setup program, see "Assigning the IP
address to the Camera" in the supplied Quick Reference.
Using ARP Commands on
Windows 98, NT and 2000
Open a DOS window and enter the IP address and the
MAC address of the camera you want to assign a new IP
address to, using the following commands.

Windows 95
Open a DOS window and enter the IP address and the
MAC address of the camera you want to assign a new IP
address to, and the IP address of your computer, using
the following commands.

Confirming the Setup
If the IP address is successfully assigned, a message
similar to the following will appear on the screen.
Arp -s
Ping -t
Arp -s 192.168.1.3 00-40-8c-10-00-86
Ping -t 192.168.1.3
Arp -s
Ping
Arp -s 192.168.1.3 00-40-8c-10-00-86 192.168.1.2
