Connect the AC power adaptor to
the DC IN 3 V jack of your CD player
and an AC outlet, then press
/CHG
to start charging.
The OPR lamp on the CD player flashes,
then lights up.
When the remote is connected,
“Charging” flashes and the indicator
sections of
(battery) light up in
succession in the remote display.

Preparing a Power Source
(Rechargeable Battery)
Charge the rechargeable battery before using
it for the first time or when it is depleted.
To maintain the original battery capacity
longer, charge the battery only when it is
completely depleted (“Lo Batt” appears on
the display).

Slide the OPEN switch to open the
lid of your player.

Open the battery compartment lid
inside the player.

Insert the NH-14WM rechargeable
battery (supplied) matching the
end of the battery to the
diagram in the battery compartment
and close the lids of the battery
compartment and the player until
they click into place.
Insert the
end first.
