Telephone Directory
This function lets you find a regis-
tered Speed Dial quickly by just en-
tering a single letter, for example, the
first letter of the name registered for
that number.
Limitation
❒ Speed Dial codes cannot be
searched for by symbol or number.
❒ Names enclosed within brackets
are not searched.
AAAA
Set your original, and then select
any scan settings you require.
BBBB
Press the
{{{{Speed Dial}}}} key.
CCCC
Enter the search letter by pressing
one of the Quick Dial keys (A to Z).

DDDD
Press
0 0 0 0 or 1 1 1 1 until the destina-
tion you are searching for is dis-
played, and then press the
{{{{OK}}}}
key.
Note
❒ If you make a mistake, press the
{{{{Cancel}}}} key and try again.
❒ If you wish to dial another des-
tination, press the
{{{{OK}}}} key and
dial another fax number.
EEEE
Press the
{{{{Start}}}} key.
Redial
The machine can recall the last 10 des-
tinations that have been dialed. If you
wish to send a message to a destina-
tion which you faxed recently, the Re-
dial function saves you from finding
and entering the number again.
AAAA
Place your original and select any
scan settings you require.
BBBB
Press the
{{{{Pause/Redial}}}} key.
CCCC
Press
0 0 0 0 or 1 1 1 1 until the destina-
tion you want to redial is dis-
played.
DDDD
Press the
{{{{OK}}}} key.
EEEE
Press the
{{{{Start}}}} key.
Limitation
❒ The following kinds of destina-
tions can not be recalled.
• Quick Dials
• Speed Dials
• Group Dials
• Any destinations if multiple
destinations were dialed
• Destinations dialed by Redi-
al (regarded as already mem-
orized)
