SUMMARY
The SCC-641 Smart Dome Camera is the fi rst in a line of in-
telligent, remotely controllable cameras from Samsung Elec-
tronics. With 480 TV lines of resolution and a minimum scene
illumination of 0.02 lux, the SCC-641 is a very low light color
dome. A built in X22 optical zoom with a X10 digital zoom
gives the SCC-641 an enhanced total zoom capability of 220X
with a focal length of 3.9 to 79.2mm. Superior white balance
circuitry and excellent back light compensation produce high
resolution, crisp and clear images.
One important difference with the Samsung Smart Domes
is the ability to program not only position and focus on pre-
sets, but also the actual video settings for the camera. This
enables iris control, shutter speed, negative imaging and all
other video controls to be unique for each preset. This feature
extends the boundaries of the SCC Series into many other ap-
plications
With the addition of the Samsung network equipment, the
SCC-641 can be converted into an IP addressable device and
can be viewed or controlled remotely via intranet or internet.
Remote control and programming is accomplished via an
RS-485 (full or half duplex) network, which allows all cameras
in the IC Series to be controlled and communicate. Additional
features include motion detection, alarming inputs and out-
puts on the dome head, auto-fl ip, guard tour, programmable
patterns and up to 128 presets.
