INSTALLING THE PRINTER DRIVER
Installing onto Windows Me (USB interface)
1 Make sure that the printer is connected to your computer by
USB cable.
2 Turn on the printer, and then turn on your computer.
"Add New Hardware Wizard" window will appear.
3 Insert the supplied CD-ROM into your CD-ROM drive.
4 Check the radio button for "Automatic search for a better driver
(recommended)", and then click the "Next" button.
5 Click the "Finish" button.
"Add New Hardware Wizard" window will close. Now, you have completed to
install the USB port driver. Before long, "Add New Hardware Wizard" window will
appear again.
If this window does not appear, ensure to connect the printer and your computer.
If the window does not appear while the printer and your computer is securely
connected by USB cable, refer to "'Add New Hardware Wizard' does not appear
(USB interface)" in "Troubleshooting" of the online manual.
