Getting Started With Press & Talk
Press & Talk allows you to enjoy quick, two-way, “walkie-talkie-
style” communication with your friends, family, and co-workers.
You can make one-to-one or one-to-many calls (up to five others
on the same call) to any other Press & Talk user, anywhere on the
network available to you. You can make and receive Press & Talk
calls when your phone displays the Press & Talk icon.
Setting Press & Talk Mode
To enable or disable Press & Talk mode:

Press Menu (
) to access the main menu.

Select Settings (

Select Enable/Disable (

Enable: Lets you make or receive Press & Talk calls
any time your phone is not in use.

Disable: Disables your phone's Press & Talk service;
you will not be able to make or receive Press & Talk
calls or access your Press & Talk contacts.
Preparing Your Phone for Press & Talk Service
Every time you turn on your phone, your phone will identify
itself and make itself available to the Press & Talk network.

When you turn on your phone in an area where
Press & Talk service is available, your phone will display
“Preparing...Please wait.” (When the Press & Talk icon
appears on the display, your phone is ready to make and
receive Press & Talk calls.)
