The INPUT SETTING Menu
DDE (Dynamic Detail Enhancer)
Selects the reproduction format of the input
video signals according to the video sources.
Off: Plays back the video signal in an
interlace format without converting.
Progressive: Converts an interlace format
video signal to a progressive format.
Film: Reproduces the 2-2, 2-3 Pull-Down
film sources with smooth picture
movement. When the video signal with a
format other than the 2-2, 2-3 Pull-
Down is input, “Progressive” is
automatically selected.

The INPUT SETTING menu is used to
adjust the input signal.
Items that cannot be adjusted depending on
the input signal are not displayed in the
menu.

page 52.
When the video signal is input
When the RGB signal is input
Wide Mode
Sets the aspect ratio of the picture. When
inputting 16:9 (squeezed) signal from
equipment such as a DVD player, set to On.
Off: When the picture with ratio 4:3 is input.
On: When the picture with ratio 16:9
(squeezed) is input.
Note that if the projector is used for profit or for
public viewing, modifying the original picture
by switching to the wide mode may constitute
