Error/Symbol What Does It Mean? How To Fix It
Monitor may have been
inflated without the cuff
around the arm OR Cuff
may not be positioned
correctly on the arm. Read page 17 (Applying
the Cuff).
Read pages 10 & 11
(Important information
before using the unit). The cuff tube may be folded
OR You may have moved
while the cuff was inflating.
You may have moved or
spoken during the mea-
surement process.
You may have been
startled by a noise or
vibration while measuring.
Remember that it is
important not to move
and speak as it may
elevate measurements.
Make sure you are in a
quiet and comfortable
place when taking a
measurement.
The monitor is inflated
higher than 300 mmHg
Deflate the monitor by
depressing the Air
Release Knob. All air has not been
released from the cuff,
it is not fully deflated.
