Navigating

• Press / to access the main menu and

submenus.

• Press r to select a highlighted option.
• Press @ (the red End/Power key) to return

to standby mode.

• Press the - keys (softkeys) below the text

options on the bottom left and right of the
display to access those options.

Voicemail

All unanswered phone calls are transferred
to your voicemail, even if your phone is in
use or turned off. See the Get Started guide
to set up your voicemail as soon as your
phone is activated.

Retrieve Your Voicemail

From your phone:

1. Press / > Messages > Voice Mail.
2. When prompted, enter your password.

From any other phone:

1. Dial your wireless phone number.
2. When your voicemail answers, press *.
3. Enter your password.

Contacts

Save a Number

1. Enter a phone number or a Direct Connect

number and press / > Store Number.

2. Highlight [New Contact] or highlight an

existing contact name and press r.

3. Use the keypad and navigation key to add

or assign information such as Name,
number type (Mobile, DC, Work, Home,
etc.), and ringer.

4. Press Save(left softkey).

Retrieve a Number

1. Press Contacts (left softkey) or press

/ > Contacts.

2. Use your navigation key to scroll through

the entries, or use your keypad to enter
the first letter of the contact entry.

3. To display an entry, highlight it and

press r. To call the entry’s default
phone number, highlight it and press `
(the green Talk key). To make a Direct
Connect call to the entry, highlight it and
press the Direct Connect button.

Messaging

Send a Text Message

1. Press Mesgs (right softkey) or press

/ > Messages.

2. Select [Create Message].
3. Enter a wireless phone number or email

address and press r.

– or –

Press Search (left softkey), select
Contacts

or Recent Calls, select an

entry or entries, and press Done
(left softkey).

4. Use your keypad to enter a message

or press QNotes (left softkey) to
insert a preset message. (If you
have already begun entering text,
press / > Insert > Insert QNotes to
access preset messages.)

5. Press r when you have finished

entering the message.

6. Press Send (left softkey).
