Imaging Files

• Pointer

Use the Pointer to select annotations in a document that have been
made with the Annotation Tools.

• Selection

Select Image Area allows you to drag across an image and create a
rectangular selection area. The area you select can then be edited
with editing commands (Copy, Cut, and Delete) located in the Edit
menu. Select Image Area can be used with images only, whereas
the Pointer is only for annotations.

• Freehand Draw tool

This tool is used to draw directly on a document, much in the style
of a pencil tool in drawing programs.

• Line and Arrow tool

With this tool, you can insert lines or arrow-headed lines into a
document of various thicknesses and directions.

• Highlight tool

Use this tool to highlight an area of text. Just as with an actual
highlighter pen, the underlying text will remain visible.
