2 Load the document you wish to scan in the auto
document feeder or on the document glass:
Auto Document Feeder: Adjust the document guides to the width of
the document. Insert the document face up into the feeder.
Document glass: Place the original face down on the glass with the
top edge against the document guide. Make sure the center of the
original is aligned with the center mark on the document guide.
