Playing tracks
in random order
(Shuffle Play)
You can play tracks in random
order.
Tip
During shuffle play,
you cannot select the
previous track by
turning the jog dial (or
by pressing
= on the
remote).
On the remote
Press MODE until
“SHUF” appears in the
display.
SHUF/PGM MD ^ CD ^
Before you begin, make sure that the CD or MD
player is in stop mode.

Press SHUF/PGM until “SHUF” appears in the
display.

Press CD ^ (or MD ^) to start shuffle play.
To cancel Shuffle Play
Stop play first. Then, press SHUF/PGM until “SHUF”
disappears from the display.
