Troubleshooting
What appears to be trouble is not always serious. Check the following points before calling a service center.
Symptoms Remedies/Causes
General
• Sound cannot be heard from the speakers. • Adjust the volume to the optimum level.
• Check the cords and connections.
• The unit does not work at all. Reset the unit (see page 3).
• “Connect Error” appears on the display. Remove the control panel, wipe the connector, then
attach it again (see page 4).
FM/AM
• SSM automatic presetting does not work. Store stations manually.
• Static noise while listening to the radio. Connect the aerial firmly.
Disc playback
• Disc cannot be played back. Insert the disc correctly.
• CD-R/CD-RW cannot be played back.
• Tracks on the CD-R/CD-RW cannot be
skipped.
• Insert a finalized CD-R/CD-RW.
• Finalize the CD-R/CD-RW with the component which
you used for recording.
• Disc can neither be played back nor ejected. • Unlock the disc (see page 13).
• Eject the disc forcibly (see page 3).
• Disc sound is sometimes interrupted. • Stop playback while driving on rough roads.
• Change the disc.
• Check the cords and connections.
• Disc cannot be recognized (“No Disc,”
“CD Loading Error,” or “Eject Error” flashes).
Eject the disc forcibly (see page 3).
• “Please Eject” appears on the display. Insert a playable disc into the loading slot.
MP3/WMA/AAC playback
• Disc cannot be played back. • Use a disc with MP3/WMA/AAC tracks recorded in
a format compliant with ISO 9660 Level 1, Level 2,
Romeo, or Joliet.
• Add the extension code <.mp3>, <.wma>, or
<.m4a> to the file names.
• Noise is generated. Skip to another track or change the disc. (Do not add
the extension code <.mp3>, <.wma>, or <.m4a> to
non-MP3/WMA/AAC tracks.)

General
• Difuzoarele nu emit nici un sunet. • Reglaţi volumul la nivelul optim.
• Verificaţi cablurile şi conexiunile.
• Aparatul nu funcţionează deloc. Resetaţi aparatul (vezi pagina 3).
• Pe afişaj apare mesajul „Connect Error” (Eroare
de conexiune).
Scoateţi panoul de comandă, ştergeţi conectorul şi apoi
montaţi-l din nou (vezi pagina 4).
FM/AM
• Funcţia de presetare automată a sistemului
SSM nu este operabilă.
Memoraţi posturile de radio manual.
• Se percepe zgomot de fond în timpul
funcţionării aparatului de radio.
Conectaţi antena bine.
Redar
e disc
• Discul nu poate fi redat. Introduceţi discul în mod corect.
• Discul CD-R/RW nu poate fi redat.
• Nu se poate trece peste piesele de pe CD-R/CD-
RW.
• Introduceţi un CD-R/CD-RW cu sesiune finalizată.
• Finalizaţi CD-R/CD-RW-ul cu ajutorul componentei pe care
aţi utilizat-o pentru înregistrare.
• Discul nu poate fi nici redat, nici ejectat. • Deblocaţi discul (vezi pagina 13).
• Ejectaţi discul în mod forţat (vezi pagina 3).
• Sunetul este uneori întrerupt în timpul citirii
discului.
• Întrerupeţi redarea în timpul deplasărilor pe teren
accidentat.
• Schimbaţi discul.
• Verificaţi cablurile şi conexiunile.
• Discul nu este recunoscut (apare intermitent
unul dintre mesajele „No Disc”, „CD Loading
Error” - Eroare încărcare CD) sau „Eject Error”-
Eroare ejectare)
Ejectaţi discul în mod forţat (vezi pagina 3).
• Pe afişaj apare mesajul „Please Eject” (Vă
rugăm să ejectaţi).
Introduceţi în fantă un disc care poate fi redat.
Redar
e disc MP3/WMA/AA
C
• Discul nu poate fi redat. • Utilizaţi un disc cu piese în format MP3/WMA/AAC
înregistrate într-un format compatibil cu formatul ISO 9660
Level 1, Level 2, Romeo sau Joliet.
• Adăugaţi extensia <.mp3>, <.wma> sau <.m4a> la
denumirea fişierelor.
• Se produc zgomote. • Treceţi la altă piesă sau schimbaţi discul (nu adăugaţi
extensia <.mp3>, <.wma> sau <.m4a> pentru piesele
care nu sunt în format MP3/WMA/AAC).
Îndrumar de depanare
Ceea ce pare a fi o problemă nu este întotdeauna ceva foarte grav. Verificaţi următoarele aspecte înainte de a apela la
un centru de service.
