The Serial Attachment (#4250, #4252) will attach using
RS-422A to:
•
IBM RS/6000 and pSeries
•
IBM AS/400 ASCII workstation controller
The attachment and data-stream support provided by the
Ethernet LAN Attachment (#4260, #4262) is similar to that
provided by the 10BASE-T Ethernet Network Print Server
(#4164).
However, the Ethernet LAN Attachment will
operate on both 10- and 100-megabit Ethernet LANs.
