Troubleshooting
Use the following checklist for troubleshooting if you have problems
with your TV. Many problems are the result of incorrect adjustments,
not TV malfunctions. See your authorized service center if problems
persist. Make sure that all connections are correctly made when
using with other equipment.
Problem
Solution
No power
• Make sure that the AC power adapter is connected to an
AC power outlet.
• Make sure that the power is turned on.
Poor picture or
sound
• Try another channel.
• Adjust the antenna.
• Check all wire connections.
No picture or
sound
• Try another channel.
• Make sure that the AC power adapter is connected to an
AC power outlet.
• Make sure that the antenna connection is correct.
• Press INPUT to select TV mode, then try another TV
feature.
No sound or poor
sound
• Adjust the volume control on the remote control or main
TV.
• Press MUTE to restore the sound.
• Check the volume settings of equipment connected to your
TV.
No color, or wrong
colors or tints
• Make sure the program is broadcasting in color. Try a
different channel. If it works, then the problem could be
station’s broadcast signal.
• Make sure the antenna is correctly connected to the jack
on the back of the set.
• If an outside antenna is being used, check for a broken
wire.
• Adjust the Color or Tint controls.
Picture rolls
vertically or lines or
streaks appear in
the picture
• Try a different channel. If it works, then the problem could
be station’s broadcast signal.
• Check all wire connections.
• Check for local interference.
Picture or sound
distorted, or picture
blurred
• Try a different channel. If it works, then the problem could
be station’s broadcast signal.
• Check your antenna direction, location, and connections.
