qualified (for example, UL Approved) for such
use. An explosion or fire may result.

damaged (for example, cracked housing). An

occur while installing or removing batteries

Turn a radio off before removing or installing a
battery or accessory.

Do not disassemble a UL Approved Product
unit in any way that exposes the internal
electrical circuits of the unit.

Do not substitute components. This could void
the intrinsic safety rating.
