P OWER S AVE M ODES AND THE M ULTI -F UNCTION B UTTON
C HANGING THE B EEPER T ONE
A S hort (<3 second) depression and the beeper
tone will change. The new tone will be heard,
followed by a short pause. Then two more of the
new tones will be heard signifying the new
setting has been stored in memory. The silent
(no beep) tone is also selectable.
P LACING THE U NIT IN L ASER & M OTOR O FF
P OWER S AVE M ODE
Long (>3 seconds) depression
The Laser & Motor Off Power Save Mode is the
only power save mode that can be activated with
the multi-function button.
W AKING THE U NIT FROM A LL P OWER S AVE M ODES
The next button depression will awaken the
scanner for normal operation.
