Troubleshooting
The following refer to specific problems:
Problem Solution
I pressed the
power key, but
nothing
happened. Press the power key until you see the
power-on display and you hear an
audible alert.
The display says:
Enter Unlock
Code
. How do I
unlock my
Personal
Communicator?
See “Locking and Unlocking Your
Personal Communicator” on page 79.
I cannot send/
receive calls. Make sure that you have a signal
indicator (see the “Signal Strength
Indicator” item on page 21). Avoid
electrical or radio interference, and
obstructions such as bridges, parking
garages, or tall buildings.
Your Personal Communicator also may
have the
Restrict Calls feature
turned on. If you know the unlock code,
you can change this setting in the
security menu (
M > Settings >
Security ).
