Using the Installation Menu
This menu is present only for digital mode.
E
mergency Alert allows you to display or discard
emergency alert for Low or Medium priority.

Press the MENU button on the remote control
to show the onscreen menu.

Press the CURSOR DOWN w button to scroll
through the onscreen menu until the word
Install is highlighted.

Press the CURSOR RIGHTubutton to
display the Install menu features.

Press the CURSOR DOWN w button to scroll
through the Install features until the word
Emerg Alert is highlighted.

Press the CURSOR RIGHTubutton to
display the Emergency Alert options.

Using the CURSOR UP v or DOWNw button,
to scroll the menu to highlight the Low or Medium
priority

Now use the CURSOR RIGHTubutton to
toggle between Present or Discard. If Present is
selected, the TV will display the alert of that priority.
If Discard is selected, the TV will not display the
alert of that priority.

When finished, press the EXIT/INFO button
to remove the menu from the TV’s screen.
* Emergency Alert may not be visible if no
broadcast is received. broadcast is received.

actory Channel Reset feature allows you to erase
the contents of the master, user and favorite chan-
nel lists. This restores the TV to the initial state prior to
the first Auto Program operation.

instruction in the menu to reset the
TV.

to remove the menu from the TV’s screen.
