Modem Setup
The Modem Setup screen only applies when the Modem Usage is set for RAS (Dial-in PPP). RAS usage is
defined in the Modem Usage Setup field of the Modem Usage screen.
1.
Verify that the
V.92 Setup
parameters conform to your client’s characteristics.
2.
Multi-Tech recommends that you set
Retrain Limit
to 4 and due to compatibility issues seen with various
modems, you may wish to disable
Quick Connect
and
V.8bis
.

If additonal modem commands are required, refer to Appendix B, Advanced Commands in the User Guide.
