BEFORE REQUESTING SERVICE
Check the following chart for the symptom(s) you are experiencing.

No power
The DC car cord is not
plugged into the cigarette
lighter socket. Connect the DC car cord to
the cigarette lighter socket.
The DC car cord fuse is
blown. Replace the fuse.
Cassette is not inserted. Insert cassette.
Moisture condenses on the
video heads. The PLAY indicator is
flashing on and off. Wait two
or three hours until it goes off.
Power is on-no
operations

No picture when playing
back a recorded tape. The TV is not set to the Video
channel 3 or 4. Set the Video channel to 3 or
4 position on your TV. (When
a TV is connected with an an-
tenna cable)

Tracking adjustment
beyond range of automatic
tracking circuit. Adjust tracking manually
using the TRACKING

▼ buttons on remote control.

Noise bars on the screen.
Video heads are dirty.
The tape is worn or damaged.
Clean the video heads.
