Configuring the SMS Application
To use the SMS application to send text messages to both SMS-enabled tele-
phone numbers and email addresses, verify the following SMS email settings. If
the information is not preset for you, obtain this information from your Cellular
Service Provider:
To verify your SMS email settings:
1. Select SMS from the Home screen.
2. Select the Settings for Messages button from the toolbar.
3. Select the Settings for SMS button from the toolbar.
4. Verify or type the service center number and gateway number obtained from
your Cellular Service Provider.
5. In the Expiry period field, type the maximum time (in hours) that your unfor-
warded messages are to remain with the Message Service Center before
being deleted.
