Controlling suction power
The suction power can be varied to suit
the surface being cleaned, by using the
variable power control

The suction power can also be adjusted
using the fingertip control on the handle of
the suction hose

Open:
reduced suction
Operation
Suction hose
Lining up the locking tabs on the hose to
location slots on the vacuum. Push the hose
end
Ë into the suction hose inlet fl on the
vacuum cleaner.Turn the rotating hose
clockwise until it clicks.Make sure it is
securely in place. The appropriate cleaning
tool can be attached directly to the other end
of the suction hose.
Switching on
Plug the appliance into the mains supply.
Ensure that the variable power control „
isset to minimum by turning the dial anti-
clockwise as far as it will go. Push the on/off
switch
‰ to start the suction motor. Turn the
variable power dial clockwise to the desired
power. Push the switch again to turn off the
motor
