Using FPC 1000 with a Notebook PC
2.1.1. Checking Hardware and Software Requirements
The FPC 1000 requires certain hardware and software capabilities of the notebook PC.
Verify that the following hardware requirements are met:

I/O Resources 1 IRQ, 256 Bytes I/O space
Suggested Minimum Processor Speed 600 Mhz
Verify that the notebook PC uses one of the following operating systems:
• Windows ® 98 SE
The FPC 1000 functions with notebook PCs that utilize the following operating systems:
• Windows 2000
• Windows XP
Note:
The FPC 1000 may work on additional operating systems than those listed here. To see if the
FPC 1000 works on a system not listed here, check with your Flarion representative.
