• If you haven’t set the clock, the Clock Settings menu (“Set Month”) will appear. You must set the local
time before you can program a VCR Plus+ Recording (see page 45).
VCR PLUS+ RECORDING
Follow these steps to program a VCR Plus+
recording. You will need a local TV listing
that includes VCR PlusCode numbers.

Press VCR PLUS+ (see note below).

Use the 0-9 keys to enter the 2 to 8-digit VCR
PlusCode number shown in your local televi-
sion programming guide for the program you
wish to record.
• To correct your entry, press CLEAR.
• Press VCR PLUS+ to continue.

Basic programming is complete. The event will
be recorded automatically on the date and
time represented by the code you entered. As
in Timer Recording, the event will appear on
the Timer Summary screen.
• To set how often the event will record and/
or to adjust the recording speed, continue
with Step 4 below.
• To delete an event, use the UP/DOWN
arrow keys to select it, then press CLEAR.
• To exit the Event Summary screen, press
RETURN.

Use the UP/DOWN arrow keys to move the
pointer to the desired event number, then
press the RIGHT arrow key to select.

Press the RIGHT arrow key repeatedly until
“Set Type” appears in the menu header.
• Do NOT make any changes to Set Month,
Set Day, Set Hour, Set Minute, Set Length
(H) or Set Length (M) because these were
set automatically when you entered the
VCR PlusCode.
