CAUSE

Slicer not plugged in

Breaker at panel tripped

Auto engage lever in automatic
position

Knife cover off

Knife cover removed or not
properly installed

Knife cover removed or not
properly installed

Chute motor overload. Check
for obstructions and lubrication

Dull knife

Chipped knife

Knife-slicer table gap too wide

Knife too small, 11” or less

Knife cover

Food chute

Slicer table

No lubrication

Stones dirty, wet or clogged
with grease

Knife dirty

Worn stones

Stones not properly aligned

SOLUTION

Plug in slicer

Reset breaker at power box

Move auto engage lever to
manual position

Install knife cover

Install knife cover

Move auto engage lever to
manual position

Install knife cover

Clear obstructions, lube rails,
unplug slicer for 10 seconds,
plug slicer in and restart.

Sharpen knife-make sure knife
and stones are clean

Sharpen or have new knife
installed

Call for service to adjust slicer
table

Have new knife installed

Make sure knife cover is
securely installed

Tighten or adjust food chute

Have defective end weight
replaced

Call for service to adjust slicer
table

Lubricate slide rods thoroughly
with Globe oil. No vegetable
oil!

Clean stones with soapy water
and brush. Dry stones
afterwards.

Clean top and bottom of knife

Have stones replaced

Have sharpener adjusted
