that when a unit is powered up, it automatically contacts the Grandstream provisioning server.
The Grandstream provisioning server then redirects the unit to the appropriate BroadWorks
XSP server. The unit reboots and sends further HTTP/S provisioning requests to the
BroadWorks XSP server.
The phone can also be manually configured with the BroadWorks XSP address if the
Grandstream redirection service is not being used. This is described in the following sections.
5.2.4.1 GXP21xx/GXP14xx Models Manual Configuration
Log into the phone’s web UI via http://phone_IP_address . The default login is
admin/admin. Browse to the Settings

Advanced Settings page. Set the following:
„ HTTP/HTTPS User Name: BroadWorks Device Access User Name
Example: bsmith
„ HTTP/HTTPS Password: BroadWorks Device Access Password
Example: 123456
„ Upgrade Via: HTTP (or HTTPS)
„ Firmware Server Path: Device Management server (XSP) device address URL
Example: xsp1.broadworks.net:80/dms/Grandstream_GXV3175/
„ Config Server Path: Device Management server (XSP) device address URL
Example: xsp1.broadworks.net:80/dms/Grandstream_GXV3175/
Click on “Update”, then “Reboot”.
