The side-view picture shown here is
an example of an installation of the
model MC14-TR+PS9, 19” rack-
mount tray, holding a few 100Mbps
14E Media Converters, each with
their power input plugged into the
built-in common AC power supply in
the rear area of the tray. (PS units
that come with the MC’s are not
used).
Metal mounting screws in
the bottom-front hold each of the
media converters secure in the tray,
separately removable for service. The dual LEDs permit viewing operating status of the Media
Converters from any angle.
