Symptoms
Possible Cause/Remedy
Disc cannot be played
• Ensure that the label is facing
up.
• Clean the disc.
• Check to see if the disc is
defective by trying another disc.
• Check to see if the disc is badly
scratched or warped (not flat).
DVD buttons have no response
• DVD buttons have no response.
• Press 3 and 5 together until the
headphone icon (
) is displayed
on the radio bezel.
No DVD audio can be heard from
the speakers or headphones
• Press the radio AUX button for
DVD/CD mode (there will be no
sound in Auxiliary mode without
an audio device connected and
operating).
• Press STOP (
) to stop the
disc and then press PLAY again.
• Increase the volume at the radio
control, volume on the DVD player
and on the wireless headphones.
• Turn the system off then on
again to re-attempt.
No DVD audio from the front
speakers
• Increase volume at the radio
control.
• Adjust the radio FADE setting.
• Press the radio AUX button for
DVD/CD mode (there will be no
sound in Auxiliary mode without
an audio device connected).
• Press STOP to stop the disc and
then press PLAY again.
• Turn the system off then on
again to re-attempt.
