• BRIGHTNESS - allows you to adjust the brightness levels of the
screen.
Pausing an audio CD
Press STILL ( ) during playback. To return to playback, press PLAY
( ).
Searching in an audio CD
• Press and momentarily hold PREV/NEXT to search backward/forward.
As the search begins and the sound is partially muted.
• To step up to eight times the normal speed, press again. The search
goes to eight times the speed.
• To return to four times the normal speed, press again.
• The speed and direction are indicated on the LCD screen each time
PREV or NEXT is pressed.
• To end the search, press PLAY (
) to resume playback or press
to stop playback.
Favorite track selection (FTS) with audio CDs
Your system is equipped with Favorite Track Selection (FTS). This
feature operates with audio CDs and allows you to choose particular
tracks to include or exclude on a playlist. When the discs are played,
they will automatically play the programmed tracks.
To add tracks from the list:
• A CD must be in the system and stopped.
• Press
on the DVD player or remote twice to get to the normal
track list.
• Press
until you reach the desired track.
• Press MEM on the DVD player or, on the remote, MEMORY or
SELECT to add the track to the FTS list.
• Press
or until you reach the next desired track.
• Repeat the process until your list is complete.
• Press PLAY (
SEL) to begin playing the customized playlist.
To remove tracks from the list:
• Press
to access the FTS list.
• Press
to access the track you wish to remove.
