Dual frequency display
The low frequency picture appears on the left;
the high frequency picture on the right. This
display is useful for comparing underwater
conditions with two different frequencies.
Note: The default split is the vertical split.
Horizontal split is also available. Zoom dis-
plays may also be shown on split screens.

Zoom display
Zoom mode expands chosen area of the sin-
gle frequency picture. Five modes are avail-
able: bottom lock, bottom zoom, marker zoom
and two bottom discrimination modes. The
default mode is bottom lock. You can preset
the zoom mode to use on the Sounder menu.
Bottom lock display
The bottom lock display provides a normal
picture on the right half of the screen and a
16-600 feet (default: 16 feet) wide layer in
contact with the bottom is expanded onto the
left half of the screen. This mode is useful for
detecting bottom fish.
Note 1: The range of the zoom display can be
adjusted on the Range menu.
Note 2: The zoom marker can be turned on or
off on the Display menu.
