Check the product regularly for damage.

Always ensure that there is a minimum clear
distance of approx. 50 mm between all sides
of the product and any combustible material.

Always ensure that the product stands in a
stable position.

Assembling / disassembling
the work light

Pull the mains plug out of the
mains socket before you carry out any task on the
device. Otherwise there is a danger to life!
note: To do this you will require a Phillips
screwdriver.
Follow these steps:
1. First place the work light down with its lamp
guard

at the bottom on the floor.
CAuTIOn! Place a soft cover or similar item
on the supporting surface first to avoid
scratching the lamp guard

2. Push the retainer

from below on to the work
light. Ensure that the two clips of the retainer
8
are seated in the recesses in the work light
(see Fig. A).
3. Now place the spacer

between the retainer

and the work light and screw the stud
bolts

in clockwise (see Fig. B).
4. Push the frame stirrup

on to both frame legs

. Fix the frame stirrup

and legs

in place
by turning the stirrup connection screws

clockwise into the predrilled holes (see Fig. C).
5. Place the work light with the stud bolts

into
the brackets

. Ensure that the work light is fit-
ted the right way around – with the handle

uppermost (see Fig. D).
CAuTIOn! Once the work light is in the
brackets

it can be swivelled about a hori-
zontal axis. Ensure that the work light does not
strike the floor with its lamp guard

. Failure
to observe this advice may result in damage to
the product.
note: Ensure that the mains lead

not become trapped between the work light
and the frame.
6. Turn the adjustment screws with the spacer
sleeves

clockwise into the predrilled holes
in the frame legs

note: The tighter you screw in the adjustment

7. Screw in the two locking screws

clockwise
using a Phillips screwdriver (see Figs. F).
8. Insert the plug into an earthed mains socket.
Your work light is now ready for
operation.
note: Retighten all threaded connections regularly.
9. Disassembly of the work light takes place in the
reverse order.
