Slide:
Slide does not close properly. Pistol or rounds dirty or greased
too much.

Strip, clean and lubricate pistol,
clean or replace ammunition.
Repair by manufacturer.
Case ejection:
Empty case remains in the
chamber or gets stuck in ejector
port. Underloaded ammunition.
Recoil not sufficient due to dirt.
Pistol defective.
Replace ammunition.
Strip, clean and lubricate pistol.
Repair by manufacturer.
Misfiring:
Hammer hits; no discharge. Firing pin sticks in the
firing pin guide.
Ammunition fault.
Pistol defective.
Strip, clean and lubricate pistol.
Have pistol checked by armorer.
Manually cycle slide to load new
round
Repair by manufacturer.
