Activate the CONFIGURE menu and press the ENTER key when the
IDS550 displays 'CONFIG PAGE'.

The IDS550 prompts: "HEADER LABEL"

Enter up to 16 characters for the header label or press CONTINUE
to skip header label entry. The HEADER LABEL is printed when
item #2 is selected in the page-printer item list. The header
label is used for printing company name, station id, "HAVE A
NICE DAY", etc... The header entry uses the numeric keypad to
enter alpha data by using the position of letters in the
alphabet:
" ABCDEFGHIJKLMNOPQRSTUVWXYZ.+-0123456789" BACKSPACE

0123456789012345678901234567890123456789 9

To enter IDS INC. enter 09 04 19 00 09 14 03 27
Press the ENTER key when the entry is complete.

The IDS550 prompts with the following menu:

CONFIG PAGE 1 - Page 1
CONFIG PAGE 2 - Page 2
CONFIG PAGE 3 - PAGE 3

Press the CONTINUE key to scan the page menu.
Press the ENTER key to begin a page data entry.

Each page may have up to 12 items printed on it. The pages
are organized as follows:

line_no = line number to print item on.

columno = column number to begin printing item.

item_no = item to be printed ( see item list ).

size = print size: 0 = no change, 1 = small,

2 = enhance, 3 = mixed

NOTE: The maximum number of characters that can be printed
on one line is 20 in enhanced mode, or 40 in normal
size print.
