Step 2. Make sure the corner mechanical
overload stops are not engaged with
the platform. Lower as necessary.
Step 3. Verify that the instrument or network is
operating properly.
Step 4. Make sure there are no high voltage
wires close to the scale.
Step 5. Check that the scale and instrument
are properly grounded.
Step 6. If high static electricity is present a
ground strap should be added from the
top cover to the chassis and to earth
ground.
