CHECK THE EXPOSURE METER NEEDLE

Before pressing the shutter lever aim the

camera at the subject and check the position

of the exposure meter needle inside the viewfinder.

Press the shutter lever if the needle is pointing

inside the range of the aperture scale.

Exposure with the electric eye is improper
if the needle is pointing to either of the red

marks on both sides of the aperture scale.

lf the needle is pointing to the mark on the

right side it means under-exposure, and so

the lighting must be increased.

if the needle is pointing to the mark on the

left side it means over-exposure, and so a

neutral density filter must be attached to restrict,

the light intensity.

#Be sure that the three-way switch is set at “R”.

Otherwise, the meter needle will not move.
