Fade-in and Fade-out
You can 1ade-in or fade-out to give your recording a professional appearance.
When fading-in, the picture will gradually appear from black.
The sound will also gradually inaease.
When fading-out, the picture will gradually fade to black. The sound will decrease.

Select the type of fade by pressing FADER as follows:
When fading>in
Press it after setting the STANDBY switch up to put the camcorder into the
standby mode.
The Fade indicator starts flashing.
When fadlng*out
Press it while recording. The fade
indicator starts flashing.
Press START/STOP.
When fading>in
The fade indicator stops flashing
and the recording starts fading in.
When fading-out
The fade indicator stops flashing and the picture fades out and then the
recording stops.
To cancel the fade-in/out function
Before pressing START/STOP, press FADER again.
Using the fade-in/out function repeatedly
Start from step 1 each time.
When the date/time (page 27), or age (page 28) is displayed
The date/time, or age does not fade-in or fade-out.
