Power
Glyph uses efficient, high-quality power supplies, selected specifically
for the demands of production environments.
Our power supplies have a large amount of headroom, so your Glyph
system will function, for brief periods of time, with AC lines
significantly below specified limits.
Glyph FireWire devices, even when they’re not turned on, will pass
signal and bus power through to downstream FireWire devices.
Glyph’s FireWire solutions are 100% compliant with FireWire
specifications for reliable operation using FireWire’s repeater
functionality.
About the GT 051
The GT 051 is a FireWire hot-swappable enclosure that makes it easy to
take drives between two computers. The GT 051 accepts a single GT
Key hot-swap drive cartridge.
