OPERATION (continued)
Programming the Timers
Both timers can be individually programmed to a
desired time (Figure 3). Follow this procedure to pro-
gram the timers.
1. With the unit turned on and free of product, press
and hold both
START/STOP buttons for approxi-
mately 2 seconds.
2. The top Timer display shows the currently pro-
grammed cooking time in hours only. The LED
turns
Red, indicating that you are programming
the cooking time.
3. Use both of the
START/STOP buttons to scroll up
and down to the desired cooking time in hours.
NOTE: The top START/STOP button increases the
time while the bottom START/STOP button decreas-
es the time.
3. When the desired time in hours is set, wait for
approximately 3 seconds. The unit switches to
minutes. Repeat Step 3 to program the desired
cooking time in minutes.
4. After the cooking time is programmed, the LED
switches from Red to
Green, indicating that you
are programming the holding time.
NOTE: A value is required for the holding time. If
no holding time is desired, set the holding time to
00:00.
5. The holding time is programmed in the same way
that the cooking time is programmed. Use both
START/STOP buttons to scroll first to the desired
holding time in hours and then do the same for
the desired holding time in minutes.
6. After programming the cooking and holding time
for the top timer, the unit switches to the bottom
timer. Repeat steps 1 through 5 to program the
cooking and holding time for the bottom timer.
7. When both timers are programmed, the unit dis-
plays the new cooking and holding times and then
displays “
- - : - - “ to indicate that programming is
complete.
Unsold Corn
Carefully plan and schedule the loading of corn so that
only a small amount is left at the end of the day. Any
leftover corn can be prepared for use the next day by
performing the following steps:
1. Remove corn from the cooker and place in a con-
tainer. Handle the corn carefully to prevent dam-
age to the kernels.
2. Cover corn with shaved ice or ice cubes and
place in freezer.
3. Reheat the corn the same way as heating
uncooked corn.
