Operating Instructions

1. Fill the Pan about half full of hot tap water.

2. Turn the Rocker Switch (power On/Off) ON. Both

LED displays show the currently programmed

cooking time for both baskets.

3. The green

Heat Indicator (Figure 3) turns on

when the unit reaches operating temperature.

NOTE: If the light on the Rocker Switch does not

light up, remove and reinstall the Head Assembly

onto the pan (Figure 1) to ensure that the Safety

Interlock Switch is properly engaged. If the Safety

Interlock Switch is not engaged, the Rocker Switch

light will not turn on, therefore, the unit will not

heat.

TIMERS
Your Corn Cooker comes equipped with two timers to

assist in the cooking and holding of corn. The top timer

is assigned to the basket closest to the Control Panel.

The bottom timer is assigned to the basket furthest

away from the Control Panel (Figure 4)

Each timer is designed to track the cooking time and

holding time for the product in the corresponding bas-

ket.

COOKING AND HOLDING CORN
Follow this procedure to cook and hold corn.

1. Make sure the unit is turned on and that the

green Heat indicator is lit.

of corn and immerse the baskets in the pan.

Water should completely cover corn. Add more

hot water if required (Figures 1 and 2)

the timer LED will switches from Red to Green.

This Green LED indicates that cooking is com-

plete.

NOTE: This unit is designed to cook corn within 35

to 45 minutes. Corn is ready to serve when the cob

core temperature reaches 150° F (68° C).

5. If a holding time has been programmed for

the selected timer, the timer begins to count

UPWARDS, tracking the length of time product is

held.

NOTE: If a hold time is NOT programmed for the

selected timer, the unit continues to beep until the
