PISTON SEAL
SEAL RETAINER
LOWER GUIDE
PISTON BODY
Catalyst Pump Assembly:
Seal kit part # PAT-CP-0245-SK
1. Install spring (SPR-C-1003) into the end of the piston rod (PAT-CP-0208). Put the
piston ball (9201-1-4) into the piston body (PAT-CP-0212). Screw the piston rod
into the piston body.
Note: Use a small amount of removable thread lock on the threads of the piston
rod. Do not over tighten as the threads are small and can become damaged easily.
Allow the thread lock to dry thoroughly before putting the pump into service
2. Slide the piston seal (PAT-CP-0215) onto the piston body (piston seal spring facing
up) followed by the piston guide (PAT-CP-0214). Screw the piston seal retainer
(PAT-CP-0213) onto the piston body. Tighten the assembly from the piston shaft
to seal retainer.
Note: Use a small amount of removable thread lock on the threads of the piston
body. Do not over tighten as the threads are small and can become damaged
easily. Allow the thread lock to dry thoroughly before putting the pump into service
3. Install the piston stop (PAT-CP-0211) onto the piston rod from the top.
4. Install the shaft assembly up through the bottom of the outlet body (PAT-CP-0203)
so that the threads on the end of the piston rod extend up and out the top. Install
cup seals (PAT-CP-0201) and leak spacer (PAT-CP-0207) onto the piston rod in
the following order. Cup seal (o-ring facing down) then leak spacer, then second
cup seal (o-ring facing down).

Carefully push the stack down into the outlet body and Install retaining nut (PAT-
CP-0206) only hand tight.
6.
With a wrench lightly tighten retaining nut (PAT-CP-0206) until the nut bottoms out
on the outlet body.
