Catalyst Pump Disassembly:
Warning: Never use any type of grease or lubricants on catalyst pump or fittings.
Clean parts in distilled water. Lay parts on clean paper towels that will be reused.
Note: Do not remove fitting body (PAT-CP-0505) from outlet body. It is also
recommended the catalyst jug and screens are cleaned using distilled water. Cut off
½” on the end of ½” poly tubing feed hose which attaches to the catalyst pump inlet
fitting to avoid leaks.

Loosen the jam nut (4101-1-1) from the inlet body (PAT-CP-0502) and then un-
screw the inlet body from the outlet body (PAT-CP-0503).

Un-screw the plastic retaining nut (PAT-CP-0506) from the outlet body (PAT-CP-
0503).
3.
Pull the ball joint linkage and piston rod (PAT-CP- 0508) up through the top of the
outlet body (PAT-CP-0503). Remove the ball joint linkage from the piston rod
(PAT-CP-0508) and slide the two cup seals (PAT-CP-0501) and leak spacer (PAT-
CP-0507) from the piston shaft.

Remove the seal retainer (4102-9-1) and piston seal (7304-1-1) from the piston
body (4102-7-1). Remove the piston body, ball (9201-1-5) and spring (4101-3-1)
from the rod (PAT-CP-0508).
5.
Remove the inlet body tube fitting (4101-8-1) and outlet body hose fitting (51501-
1)
6.
Remove from inlet body (PAT-CP-0502) ball (9201-1-14) and o-ring (O-S-014).
A scribe will be needed to remove the ball seat o-ring (O-F-110).
Wash all parts to be reused with distilled water. Inspect the piston rod and cylinder for
wear.
