10.2.3 WITH Vehicle Lap Belt only, NO Tether
Strap, and children under 30 lbs
Check to see if all three of the following conditions are true:
• Your child weighs less than 30 lbs (13.6 kg)
• The vehicle seat position is not equipped with tether anchor
• The vehicle seat position is equipped with only a lap belt
If these three statements are true, then the vehicle belt must be
installed using this method.
