13. FM-3010 CONTROLLABLE MIC
13.1 Panel Description
The optional FM-3010 remotely controls the FM-3000 and
provides an optional Intercom function.
13.1.1 Front and side keys
q PTT SWITCH [PTT] (pgs. 7, 56)
Push and hold to transmit; release to receive.
w CHANNEL UP/DOWN KEYS [Y
Y]/[Z Z]
➥Push either key to change the operating channel, Set
mode settings, etc. (pgs. 7, 56)
➥Push either key to adjust audio level or noise squelch
level after [VOL] or [SQL] is pushed, respectively. (pgs.
7, 56)
➥Push either key to adjust the brightness of the LCD and
key backlight after [VOL] is pushed for 1 sec. (p. 57)
➥In Set mode, changes setting of the selected item. (pgs.
37, 61)
➥Checks tag channels or changes scanning direction dur-
ing scan. (pgs. 12, 60)
e CHANNEL 16/CALL CHANNEL KEY [16]( )
➥Selects Channel 16 when pushed. (pgs. 5, 55)

• “CALL” appears when call channel is selected.
