3 Connect the camera to your computer by using the USB
cable or an optional HP 8886 camera dock. This activates
the Camera Share Menu Setup Wizard.
NOTE You need to have a memory card installed in your
camera that is not locked and has some free space on it in
order for the computer to recognize the camera from the
Camera Share Menu Setup Wizard.
4 In the first window, click on either Retrieve from Camera on
a Windows computer or Next on a Macintosh computer.
5 In the screen called Modify Share Menu :
• On Windows, check to see that HP Instant Share
E-mail is visible above the Add... button, then click on
the Add... button.
• On Macintosh, click on the Add... button.
6 If you are using a:
• Windows computer, you will be asked to sign in to HP’s
Passport program. HP Passport allows you to use HP’s
free e-mail service and other services that may be
available in the future. The first time you see this screen,
you will need to register as a new user. Follow the
instructions on the screen to register.
• Macintosh computer, add the e-mail addresses you want.
Then skip to step 8.
