Adjust the tube to the length you find most comfortable during vacuum cleaning. Press one

of the two collars downwards and pull the tube part above the collar upwards or push it

downwards (Fig. 5)

Connect the nozzle to the tube. (Fig. 6)

If you want the nozzle close at hand (e.g. to clean stairs, upholstery or tapestries), connect

the nozzle directly to the handgrip. (Fig. 7)

Prepare the vacuum cleaner for either dry or wet use.
Note:When you unpack the appliance, it is ready for wet use.

Preparing for dry use

Always remove the float unit and the diffuser and insert the Micro Filter (specific types only) and

the paper or reusable dustbag before you vacuum dry substances.

Make sure the appliance is unplugged.

Turn the shampoo hose clockwise (1) and pull it out of the motor unit (2). (Fig. 8)

Remove the shampoo reservoir (Fig. 9)

Undo the clamps. (Fig. 10)

Lift the motor unit from the container by the handle. (Fig. 11)

Turn the motor unit upside down. (Fig. 12)

Remove the diffuser from the motor unit. (Fig. 13)

Remove the float unit from the container. (Fig. 14)

Insert a paper dustbag or the reusable dustbag. Press and hold the red lever while you place

the front of the dustbag into the holder. (Fig. 15)

First insert the bottom edge (1). Then press the top edge into place (2). (Fig. 16)

Make sure that the two projections of the front point downwards and that the centre of the

bottom edge rests on the ridge of the holder.

Slide the holder with dustbag into the appliance in such a way that the holder is kept in place

by the two ridges in the container. (Fig. 17)

Put the motor unit back onto the appliance and close the clamps (‘click’). (Fig. 18)

Put the Micro Filter into place (specific types only). (Fig. 19)

See chapter ‘Replacement’ for replacing the paper dustbag or chapter ‘Cleaning’ for emptying

the reusable dustbag.

Preparing for wet use

Always remove the paper or reusable dustbag and the Micro Filter (specific types only) before wet

use.

Preparing for vacuuming liquids

To vacuum liquids, you need the float unit and the diffuser.

Make sure the appliance is unplugged.

Undo the clamps. (Fig. 10)

Lift the motor unit from the container by the handle. (Fig. 11)
