Cycle Sequence Chart

Cycle Descriptions

(Cycles available vary by model)

POTS & PANS or HEAVY WASH

For heavily soiled dishes or cookware with dried-on or
baked-on soils. Everyday dishes may be included. This
cycle will not remove burned-on foods.

NORMAL WASH

For loads of everyday dishes, glasses and cookware with
medium soils. Designed to yield high performance on
average soils.

NOTE: Many dishes have lighter soil than normal. Choosing
a cycle other than NORMAL WASH will save water.

LIGHT WASH or WATER SAVER

For dishes with light soils.

RINSE & HOLD

For rinsing partial loads that will be washed later. Do not
use detergent.

PLATE WARMER

For warming clean dishes and serving plates. This cycle
will take approximately 32 minutes.

*Using the Cycles on the Dial

(Cycles available vary by model)

RINSE & HOLD

1. Make sure ENERGY SAVER is selected.

2. Be sure the door is unlatched.

3. Slowly turn the Dial to RINSE & HOLD.

4. Latch the door to start the cycle.

START DELAY
The START DELAY will allow you to delay the start time
of any cycle not on the Dial automatically for up to 6 hours.
Select your desired wash cycle and energy options, then
turn the Cycle Indicator Dial to the desired time. The
HOURS DELAY light will then come on and will go
out when the cycle and energy options are complete.

PLATE WARMER

1. Load clean dishware to be warmed.

2. Select HEATED DRY.

3. Be sure the door is unlatched.

4. Slowly turn the Cycle Indicator Dial to PLATE WARMER.

5. Latch the door to start the cycle.

HEAVY WASH, NORMAL WASH and WATER SAVER
1.
Be sure the door is unlatched.

2. For models HDA200, HDA300 and HDA330, select

NORMAL WASH cycle.

3. Select your desired energy saver options.

4. Slowly turn the Dial to your desired wash cycle.

5. Latch the door to start the cycle.

Energy Saver Options Descriptions

(Options available vary by model)

WASH TEMP BOOST ON or
HEATED WASH

Provides extra heat for best
performance. It is used best with
heavily-soiled dishes.

WASH TEMP BOOST OFF

Turns WASH TEMP BOOST off.

HEATED DRY or HEATED DRY ON

Turns the drying heater on for fast
drying. This cycle will extend the time
to your wash cycle.

HEATED DRY OFF

Shuts off the drying heat option. Dishes
air dry naturally and energy is saved.

ENERGY SAVER

Turns all options off.

Drying Options:

HEATED DRY or HEATED DRY ON. Available on all
wash cycles except RINSE & HOLD. Add approximately
32 minutes to cycle time.

ENERGY SAVER or HEATED DRY OFF. Drying heater
is turned off. Dishes dry naturally.

During the Main Wash in all cycles, the Dial will pause
for approximately 29 minutes as the water continues to
circulate inside the dishwasher. After that time, the Dial
will continue to advance.
