How to Use PROBE Mode

Before First Use: See the “Cleaning” section to clean cooking surfaces.
NOTE: Do not use metal utensils when placing or removing food from grill.
Burn Hazard. Always use an oven mitt to protect hand
from contact with hot surfaces and steam during grilling. w WARNING
Select desired grill temperature.
Grill will remember desired tem-
perature until unplugged.
NOTE: 425˚F (220ºC) is the
default setting.
For Celsius: Press and hold MODE; then press ENTER.
Press MODE until Plug Prob is
displayed. Plug temperature probe into
probe jack.
Using the Temperature Probe
The temperature probe ensures that food is grilled to the desired
temperature.
Insert probe approximately 1 inch (25 mm) into the SIDE of the
thickest part of the food. Ensure the probe does not touch bone,
fat, or the grill.
If grilling more than one food item at a time, or for foods less than
3/4-inch (19 mm) thick, check for desired temperature by opening
grill and inserting probe into each food item.
